In the spirit of thanksgiving, the staff here at Christian Virtual School are so grateful for our teachers, our students and their families. We are thankful to have the opportunity to provide quality online Christian education to students from Grades 4 to 11. As a Christian school community, we aspire to educate younger generations and equip them to live a life of purpose as part of God’s plan. Our mission is to provide exceptional Christian education to students who may not otherwise have access to it. One way that we can do this, is through our yearly bursary.

William L. Kean is a former industrial arts school teacher, artist and Salvation Army Captain. He resides in Newfoundland and Labrador, and is passionate about the interconnection of religion and education. The William L. Kean Bursary is awarded annually, to up to four students. The value of the bursary is one full credit course (any grade level). All prospective and current students are eligible to apply, and it is awarded based on financial need. Applications are due by the 20th of April and applicants are notified via email in early May.

The application can be found here.  If you or anyone you know might be interested in learning online with Christian Virtual School, visit our website for further details.
