We were thrilled to welcome families from across Ontario to our Summer Virtual Open House on July 23! These seasonal events are such a blessing—they give us the opportunity to connect with families, showcase what makes Christian Virtual School unique, and answer thoughtful questions from parents and students exploring online education through a Christian lens.

During the Open House, our Directors of Administration and Guidance shared how CVS continues to grow in both numbers and in mission. We were also joined by our Department Head of Mathematics who shared information on live math classes and homework help. From outlining how our programs support learners in Grades 4–12, to highlighting the flexibility and faith-based approach we offer, families left with a clearer picture of what online learning can look like when Christ is at the centre.

We were especially encouraged by the meaningful discussions around:

  • What asynchronous learning really looks like and how it helps students thrive
  • How parents can stay involved while students develop independence
  • How we foster community and connection through virtual events and online forums
