We are so excited to welcome many new students this month, who will be joining us for the 2022-2023 school year. These students are beginning their journey towards earning the Ontario Secondary School (OSSD) with CVS and we are thrilled to be able to support them.
Those entering secondary school for the first time may be filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and apprehension. Here at CVS, we want to provide support and guidance to our students as they navigate the secondary school system. Reach out to CVS Guidance or schedule a call to get your questions answered. Our Head of Guidance offers weekly Guidance Office Hours for current students who have questions or concerns.
Our full-time students in Grades 7-12 are offered a great career/life planning tool called myBlueprint. Students can complete surveys and assessments about their interests, knowledge, and skills. They can plan their courses using the secondary school course planner, build budgets, create a resumé and cover letter, and are able to search for post-secondary programs suited to their interests. myBlueprint is a great tool for students of all ages and is particularly useful for our Grade 9 students as they begin planning their courses at the secondary level.
