About Our School
Christian Virtual School is a not-for-profit organization offering fully online courses at both the elementary and secondary level. All our courses are aligned to the Ontario curriculum and are taught by educators who are passionate about their students and their individual walks with Christ.
Anyone may register for a course with Christian Virtual School and have access to their courses from anywhere in the world, at any time of the day. All course content is online, including assessments, interactions with teachers, and any final exams.
Christian Virtual School is open year-round, and our courses are asynchronous. That is, students may register for a course on any day of the year and begin their work as soon as the next business day. This asynchronous approach allows students to work at their own pace and to create their own schedules. This flexibility also allows students the freedom to take one course at a time, or many courses at once, depending on what makes most sense for them.

Secondary Courses
At the secondary level, our goal is to provide students with an alternative education option that emphasizes a Christ-centered worldview, flexibility, and personalization. Whether the student is taking one course or many, we are dedicated to helping you and your student meet all academic goals.
WHAT OUR FAMILIES ARE SAYING…
We absolutely LOVE Christian Virtual School. We were looking for an option for OSSD credits and also be able to work at your own pace. We tried a Reach Ahead Grade 9 English course this last semester and it has been such a blessing for our daughter. Academically challenging, excellent teacher involvement and encouragement (we love Mrs. Petrone), Cafeteria and School Socials. Our daughter has made some wonderful friends and has now begun a Reach Ahead Grade 9 Math course. Our younger daughter has completed Level 4 French and in the fall she’ll take a couple other courses. CVS has been a breath of fresh air. We’ve appreciated the guidance support and quick responses to questions we may have. We are excited to continue our educational journey with CVS! – Jenita N.
Our family is new to CVS but we are already loving it! We have found the staff to be so kind and helpful, always willing to help and answer our questions. We are transitioning out of another form of high school and into CVS full time. My daughter enjoys the content as well as the format. It gives her freedom to tackle other projects as well as completing her high school education with a biblical emphasis and graduating with an OSSD. As a family serving in missions in West Africa, CVS has been a huge blessing to us. Not only is the process of enrollment easy and quick, but also the care and service offered by the administrative and guidance staff is incredible. We have been blown away by their willingness to help our family as we try to navigate online schooling from Ontario while living overseas. It would be difficult for me to fully articulate the blessing that CVS has been to our family. Never before in the 10 years of our missions/homeschool experience have we been able to earn OSSD credits from a Christian perspective with such ease and confidence in academics.
