Grade 9 Mathematics Preparation

This short, two-week course is designed to help you feel confident and prepared for your first high school math class. You’ll review key concepts from earlier grades, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and build a solid foundation for success in Grade 9 math.

In this course, you will work through a series of essential math skills that form the foundation of the Grade 9 curriculum. At the end of each lesson, you will complete a quiz to demonstrate your understanding. You must achieve 60% or higher to move on to the next skill, and students who earn 80% or higher will receive a Mastery Badge. There are 10 badges to collect in total.

Don’t worry if you don’t pass a quiz on your first attempt—you can try as many times as needed. Use the Practice Arena at the end of each day to review concepts, build confidence, and improve your skills. You can also access the Discussion Board at any time if you have questions.
