Celebrating Growth, Community, and God’s Faithfulness
This year marks a significant milestone at Christian Virtual School: six years of serving students and families through Christ-centered, flexible online education. As we reflect on this journey, we do so with grateful hearts. We recognize God’s faithfulness in every aspect of the school and give thanks for His guidance at each and every step along the way.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” Psalm 118:29 (NIV)
As we celebrate this anniversary, we are also deeply thankful for every student, family, staff member, teacher, and supporter who has been part of the journey. Each person has shaped CVS in a meaningful way, and we are continually reminded that this school has always been, and continues to be, a community effort.
What began in 2020 with a small group of local students has grown into a global learning community, now serving over 400 students each year from around the world. Along the way, we have expanded into offering a full elementary and secondary program, built strong systems of support, and watched our first graduates move confidently into their chosen post-secondary pathways. This growth is something we celebrate with gratitude, knowing it reflects not only careful planning and dedication, but God’s steady presence and provision.

While milestones and statistics tell part of the story, some of the greatest growth cannot be measured in numbers.
Over the years, we have watched:
- Students grow in confidence, independence, and perseverance
- Families rediscover joy and peace in learning
- Teachers build meaningful relationships with students
- Students form lasting friendships and community connections
We are also grateful to now be an officially recognized charity in Canada. This milestone strengthens our ability to focus on accessibility, stewardship, and long-term support for families both within our community and beyond.
Anchored in What Does Not Change

Our curriculum continues to evolve in response to Ministry updates and feedback, while remaining anchored in academic rigor and a Christ-centered worldview. During our most recent Ministry of Education inspection, we were grateful to once again receive a two-year approval to grant OSSD-credits, with particular praise given to our administrative and guidance teams.
As our student-led Yearbook Club puts together our first publication, their chosen theme verse, Isaiah 40:8, reminds us that “the grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.”
Education continues to change, and the past six years have brought curriculum updates, new graduation requirements, and shifting expectations for students and families alike. Through every season of growth and adjustment, one thing has remained constant: God’s Word. It remains our shared foundation, guiding how we learn, grow, and serve together as a community.
Education will continue to change, and so will our school, just as it has throughout these last six years. Programs will expand, tools with evolve, and new opportunities will unfold. Yet through every change and transition, one thing remains constant: God is faithful.
As we celebrate six years, we do so with thankful hearts; thankful for where we have been, for the community God continues to build, and for His guidance in every step. We trust that, just has He has from the beginning, God will continue to lead us into the years ahead, for His love endures forever.
