At Christian Virtual School, our mission is to equip students with both academic excellence and real-world readiness, rooted in a strong foundation of faith. As part of that vision, we are excited to share that we’re exploring the introduction of a co-operative education (co-op) program—and we’re inviting parents passionate about co-op to help bring it to life!

What is Co-operative Education?

Co-operative education is a structured program that allows high school students to earn credits while gaining valuable workplace experience. It blends classroom learning with hands-on practice, helping students see how their education applies in the real world. Students can explore career options, develop essential skills, and build confidence as they prepare for life beyond graduation.

In the context of Christian Virtual School, a co-op program would allow our students to:

  • Connect learning with career pathways

  • Work in real or virtual placements aligned with their goals

  • Engage with mentors and professionals in meaningful ways

  • Develop Christian character through service and stewardship

This is more than experiential learning—it’s a chance to live out faith through work, responsibility, and calling.

We Need You!

To launch this exciting new program, we are seeking parent volunteers who can help us build a strong foundation. Whether you have a background in business, education, healthcare, trades, or ministry—or just a heart to serve—we welcome your involvement.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Fundraising: Help raise resources to support co-op development and student placements.

  • Planning & Coordination: Assist with logistics, program design, and community outreach.

  • Networking: Connect us with local businesses, organizations, or ministries open to co-op partnerships.

Your time, expertise, and encouragement can help us craft a program that empowers students to discover their God-given gifts in the workplace and beyond.

Let’s Build This Together

We believe a CVS co-op program could be a game-changer for our students—and a testimony of what’s possible when a community steps out in faith. If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to express your interest through our Volunteer Page.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” – Colossians 3:23

Let’s equip the next generation to serve, lead, and shine in every sphere of life.
